I studied History
(Hacettepe University, Ankara) and Computer Science (Birmingham University,
UK). My research interests
thus lie at the intersection of social science subjects and computing which include historical computing, e-learning and copyright protection in the Internet era. In addition
to being a staff member in the History Department at Hacettepe University,
I serve as the Deputy Manager of the Turkish Academic Network and
Information Centre (ULAKBIM), an institution connected to the Scientific
and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK).
