To develop an ability to design theoretically the experiments about enzymatic reaction kinetics, and analyze and interpret given data. To instill an ability to use the techniques and skills necessary for enzyme engineering practice. To instill an ability to engage in life - long learning. |

Definition and content of biotechnology, life chemicals, mechanisms of enzyme action and detailed enzyme kinetics, factors affecting enzyme activity, enzyme immobilization techniques, production and purification of enzymes, use of free and immobilized enzymes in industry. |
