I worked as an Assistant professor at Eskisehir (Osmangazi) university between 2000-2004.Currently, I am a full professor at Hacettepe University . My master's thesis topic was "Edge and T-shaped Crack problems on an FGM layer Bonded to a Homogenous Substrate" and my Ph.D. thesis included many different topics namely; 1) "Thermal Diffusion/Stress/Crack Problems on an FGM layer Bounded to a Homogenous Substrate", 2) "Finite Element analysis of interface cracking and blistering of thin epoxy films due to transient thermal/moisture induced stresses and Plasticity" and 3) "Finite Element Modeling of Overlay Welding Problems". My unique tool to solve these problems was/is finite element method (FEM). I developed my own codes and I worked under the supervision of Prof. Fazil Erdogan and Prof. Herman F.Nied.
