I was born and raised in Ankara. I graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry. I am a full time Assistant Professor at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Pharmacy.
Briefly, I am working on analysis of drugs, metabolites and proteins. I develop and validate HPLC, LC-MS, capillary electrophoresis, electrochemical and spectrophotometric methods for determination of active pharmaceutical ingredients in their dosage forms, dissolution media and biological samples.
I profile metabolites in biological samples by using LC-MS/MS and I perform expression proteomics by 2D-Gel electrophoresis for biomarker discoveries and metabolic pathway identification on diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
I also investigate the physicochemical properties of drugs and drug canditates to understand their behavior in the system of body.
