My Background
I studied mechanical engineering at the Middle East Technical University and received B.S. and M.S. degrees. I completed my Ph.D. at Dalhousie University.
Between 2001-2006, I worked as a faculty member at the
Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dalhousie University.
Since 2006, I have been with Hacettepe University. I was with the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, University of
Waterloo, as a visiting faculty during 2012-2013 academic year.
On the administrative side, I served as the Chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and
Associate Dean of the Faculty of Engineering between 2008-2012 and
2016-2020, respectively.
