Currently studying through his PhD thesis that is on multinational firms, market entry, and foreign direct investment.

Before joining the PhD programme at University of Otago, having taken PhD papers at Middle East Technical University (METU), and having worked as a research and teaching assistant at Hacettepe University.

Currently tutoring international trade, a third-year undergraduate paper, and used to teach introductory microeconomics, a second-year undergraduate paper.
