this center, the
projects of MSDs (Marine Sanitary Devices), namely HU-2-15,
HU-2-25 and HU-2-35, were
designed and constructed for wastewater treatment in
ocean-going vessels and
submitted to National
Sanitary
Foundation of USA for technical evaluation prior to
certification by US
Coast Guard. These units along with larger
treatment systems for 100 and 150 persons have been
manufactured with US Coast
Guard Certificate in many quantities for
Turkish Navy Force and D.B. Deniz Nakliyat. Meanwhile, the
modification/reorganization of Imhoff tanks for extended
aerated activated
sludge systems have been accomplished to upgrade effluent
characteristics for
