What's Engineering
What's Engineering
Engineering is,
    1. The application of scientific and mathematical principles to practical ends such as the design, manufacture, and operation of efficient and economical structures, machines, processes, and systems.
    2. The profession of or the work performed by an engineer.

  1. Skillful maneuvering or direction: geopolitical engineering; social engineering

The word itself comes from the Latin ingenerare, to create. So, engineers are the world's problem solvers. When you watch a movie on the big screen, play the latest video game, fly an airplane, drive across a bridge, or surf the Internet, it is the work of engineers that makes it possible. They turn ideas into reality, making humans lives easier, healthier, more productive, and more FUN!

Engineering offers:

  1. Challenging jobs with good pay
  2. Help to humankind
  3. Tangible and exciting products
  4. Prestige and status

Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering is an extremely exciting field of endeavor. Electrical engineers design, produce, and operate devices and systems that use electric and electromagnetic energy for sensing, processing, visualization and use of information. Electrical Engineering has grown from its roots in power systems to branches in communications systems, automatic controls, computer hardware, signal processing, semiconductor physics, electronic circuit synthesis, optics, consumer electronics, wireless communications, digital video, integration of computers communications and sensors, robotics and intelligent control.
