Prof. Dr. Barış SABUNCUOĞLU

Barış Sabuncuoğlu received his BSc. and MSc. degrees from Middle East Technical University, Mechanical Engineering Department. He completed his PhD in Mechanics of Advanced Materials Group in Loughborough University/UK. Afterwards, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher in Composite Materials Group in KU Leuven/ Belgium. Previously he worked as a Structural Mechanics Engineer in TUBITAK-SAGE. He is currently full Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department in Hacettepe University. His research focuses on the mechanics of polymer matrix composites.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamit TEKİN (Hamed TANABI)

Hamit Tekin received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Tabriz University. He completed his Ph.D. at Middle East Technical University in 2017. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Hacettepe University, Ankara. His research focuses on the mechanical characterization of fiber-reinforced composites and additive manufacturing technologies.

Alp ŞIK

Alp Şık received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Hacettepe University. He is a research and teaching assistant in the same department and currently working on the mechanical characterization of 3D-printed composite materials. He joined the research group in Fall 2017.

Yasin KARSANDIK

Yasin Karsandık received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Hacettepe University. He focused on damage tolerance of sandwich composite structures for his M.S. thesis. He is currently a Ph.D. Student at Mechanical Engineering Department of Hacettepe University and working on repair application optimization of composite structures. He has also been working as a Composite Design Engineer at ASELSAN since 2017.

Erkin Barış GÜNGÖR

Erkin Barış Güngör received his B.S. degree from Middle East Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department (2016). He has been working as a senior structural analysis engineer at BİAS Engineering since March 2022. In his MSc study, he is working on material characterization of filament wound composites.

Melih ABDULLAHOĞLU

Melih Abdullahoğlu received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from TOBB University of Economics and Technology. He is currently working on the evaluation of mechanical properties of unidirectional composites obtained from finite element models with randomly distributed fibers. At the same time, he is working as a structural analysis engineer.

Tekin ENERJİ

Tekin Enerji received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hacettepe University. He is currently working as a Structural Design Engineer at Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI). He works on Compression After Impact Strength of Snap Cure Composite Materials.
