I am an assistant professor in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey.

My research interests are broadly in the analysis of data involving spatial and temporal domains. Specifically, I am interested in developing methods of spatio-temporal data mining and pattern discovery for the purpose of enhancing state-of-the-practice solutions on intelligent transportation systems.

  • Educational Material Development on Mobile Spatial Data Collection Using Open Source Geospatial Technologies describes the Web GIS students' (cohort 2019-20) performance on learning through an online educational material.
  • Performance Matters on Identification of Origin-Destination Matrix on Big Geospatial Data describes our empirical analysis on the performance of point-in-polygon query in Postgres and MongoDB.
