Research Area
Our research area is the analysis and design of rigid and compliant mechanisms. However, we especially focused on the design of compliant mechanisms. We can analyze compliant mechanisms by FEA and by building a test setup in our laboratory.

Engin Tanık, Raşit Karakuş, "A compliant wiper mechanism" 2013-06206 (Patent in TPI). This design is awarded with the Special Prize (Best Academic Invention) in recognition of excellent and creative efforts to invent, at the Istanbul International Inventions Fair (2016) by TPI.
