I received my Ph.D. at the Curriculum & Instruction department specializing on Early Childhood Education in Indiana University-Bloomington. For my dissertation study, I focused on Head Start teachers' early literacy practices and designed an ongoing intervention to improve their early literacy practices. After the graduation, I took a faculty position at the Dept. of Primary Education in Hacettepe University in Turkey.
