ISU Campus Liaison for the American Educational Research Association (AERA), since Sept. 2009: As a campus liaison, I have been helping disseminate important information to fellow graduate students on the ISU campus such as AERA resources, activities, and opportunities for graduate students.

Graduate Student Assembly Representative for Design and Development Division in the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT), between Jan. 2010-Dec. 2011: I acted as the GSA’s representative to the Design & Development Board, participated the division's montly meeting, and posted a quarterly report to the GSA Website of the D&D Board’s activities that were pertinent to the GSA members.

In addition, I served as a manuscript reviewer for the Australasian Journal of Educational Technology (AJET) and a proposal reviewer for a number of professional meetings including;
