Course Goals

By the end of the course, students will have:

· Become informed about information technologies, software, hardware and operation systems, new technologies in education and effective use of the Internet,

· Acquired basic computer using skills, and become able to use word-processing, spreadsheets and power point at the introductory level,

· Become informed about the integration of technology and computer assisted learning into pre-school education, software selection criteria for pre-school children and become able to assess existing programs against these criteria.
