1 semester (2 Theoretical, 2 hours in a week)

Course Content

Examining the research process (identifying problem, data collection, data analysis, and interpreting th results), overview the basic reserach methods (Experimental method, descriptive methods, correlational methods, etc.) and necessary tecnhiques to do literature reviews, data collection, data analysis and preparing research reports for a certain topic.

At the end of the course, pre-service teachers will be able to:

● Comprehend the basic concepts, terms, and descriptions

● Understand various research methods and techniques

● Collect data depending on the type and the purpose of research

● Know how to write a research report and,

● Prepare a research project proposal.
